Taylor Swift took home the Artist of the Year, Pop Artist of the Year, and Favorite Tour Style awards at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Monday night, April 1. Although the 34-year-old superstar was not present at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre in person, she delivered a heartfelt virtual acceptance speech. In her video message, Taylor Swift expressed gratitude to her fans for choosing her music as the soundtrack to their lives and teased exciting things ahead.
She announced her upcoming album, The Tortured Poets Department, set to release on April 19. This album will be Swift’s first collection of new material since her 2022 release, Midnights, which won Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2024 Grammys. Additionally, Swift has re-recorded her albums Speak Now and 1989 as part of her career-spanning Eras Tour.
