Lisa Frankenstein Review: Why It’s the Worst Film of 2024

Lisa Frankenstein is a comedy-horror movie about a goth girl named Lisa who falls in love with a reanimated corpse from the 80s. It’s supposed to be funny and a tribute to old monster movies, but it stinks. Here’s the Lisa Frankenstein Review of why it’s the worst movie of 2024.

Lisa Frankenstein Review

The Plot is a Mess

The story of Lisa Frankenstein is a big mess that’s hard to understand or care about. The movie tries to do too much in a short time, like telling Lisa’s sad past, her family problems, her issues at school, her love for the reanimated corpse, the corpse’s identity mystery, and the threat of a killer. But none of these stories get finished well and often don’t make sense together. For example, Lisa’s stepsister Taffy acts nice sometimes and mean other times, the corpse acts differently in every scene, and we never find out why the killer is doing what they’re doing.

The Humor is Lame

The movie is supposed to make you laugh, but it just falls flat. The jokes are not very good, relying on old and overused stuff. It tries to be smart, but it ends up being annoying instead. The characters talk in a way that’s supposed to be cool, but it sounds fake. It also tries to be clever about being a movie, but it’s not original. There are also a lot of references to other movies, like Heathers and Beetlejuice, but it just makes you wish you were watching those instead.

The Horror is Boring

The movie is supposed to be scary, but it just doesn’t give you any chills. It relies on easy tricks like loud noises and lots of blood, but it’s not frightening. It wants to be shocking, but it’s pretty boring. It tries to be intense, but it just doesn’t hit the mark. There’s a lot of violence and gore, but it’s more gross than anything else. It also tries to have a love story, but it’s not very touching or realistic. Overall, it’s just not a very exciting or interesting movie.

The Verdict

Lisa Frankenstein tries to be funny, scary, and romantic, but it fails at everything. It doesn’t make you laugh, it doesn’t give you thrills, and it doesn’t warm your heart. It’s a waste of the people who worked on it and a letdown for those who watch it. It’s a movie you should steer clear of because it’s just not worth your time.
